My name is the Rev. Peter Smyth. I was ordained in the Anglican Church of Ireland in 1998, serving in Stillorgan and Blackrock in Dublin. I came to St Michael's Thunder Bay to be rector in 2001. My wife is Elizabeth and we have 2 sons Aedan and Isaac. I am 34yrs and enjoy time with my family, gardening, hiking and camping.
 
 
 
 
 
 
My name is Barbara Fugelsang. I was ordained to the Vocational Diaconate in July 2004 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Thunder Bay where I was a member for over 20 years. In October 2005 I joined the parish of St. Michael’s and All Angels as Deacon Associate. I am employed as a Spiritual Care Associate and Chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Thunder Bay on the Hospice and Palliative Care Units. Of special interest to me is ministry to the aboriginal community and study of traditional native spiritual practices. I have lived in Thunder Bay my entire life.
 
My name is Katie Kirkpatrick. I've been the secretary  at the church since October 2003. I am originally from New Brunswick and have two children going to university. I am a centre rep for the Royal Conservatory of Music in Thunder Bay.
 
 
 
 
 
My name is Janet Lortie. I've been the organist at the church since April 2001. I am from Thunder Bay, but have lived in Ottawa and Montreal. I lead the choir and music group at parish and ecumenical services and play at local nursing homes. I enjoy time with my family.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
My name is Alison Ray and I am the Youth Coordinator. I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario but relocated to Thunder Bay to attend Lakehead University for my Undergraduate Degree and Teacher's College. Thunder Bay has become home to me and I look forward to becoming better acquainted with everyone.
